How to list apps on major Android app stores?

At present, the domestic Android market is divided into the third-party market and the mobile phone manufacturer market. The third-party market mainly includes App Store, 360 Mobile Assistant, Baidu, Wandoujia, etc., and the manufacturer market includes Huawei, Xiaomi, VIVO, OPPO, Meizu, Samsung, etc.

The third-party markets have relatively few restrictions on APP types, and the total number of applications is large. The installed base of mobile phones in these markets is large, so the application distribution volume is still large. However, if the quality of the application developed by an individual developer is not good, and he does not know ASO and has no money to increase the number of applications, it will basically be drowned in the sea as soon as it is launched.

The manufacturer market refers to those manufacturers with hardware manufacturing capabilities. They will install the app store by default in their own brand of mobile phones. They have strict control over the listing of apps and have high requirements for app quality. Some apps with single functions or too much homogeneity will not be approved.

Currently, the manufacturer market has the largest application distribution volume, and the third-party market is getting worse and worse. Mobile phone manufacturers have already occupied the channel traffic outlets. Now every mobile phone has an application market, so who would go to the next third-party market?

The current ranking of app distribution volume is Huawei>= OPPO>= VIVO> Xiaomi> third-party market

1. 360 Market

Soft: Not mandatory, but you need to provide something like a "waiver", which needs to be printed and handwritten, and then photographed and uploaded.

Account identity: supports individuals and enterprises.

Application distribution volume: Generally, the distribution volume of the rankings is very high, while the distribution volume of my own applications is basically sunk.

2. App Store (Tencent development platform)

Soft: Mandatory, but you can try uploading screenshots of other markets' listings, there is a chance that it will pass.

Last year, we didn’t need soft ones, but this year we need them.

Account identity: supports individuals and enterprises.

App distribution: Average

3. Baidu (91 Assistant, Android Market)

Soft: Not mandatory

Account identity: supports individuals and enterprises.

App distribution: Average

4. Alibaba application distribution platform (Wandoujia, Ali Jiuyou, PP Assistant, UC App Store, etc.)

Soft: Not mandatory, but developer declaration is required.

Account identity: supports individuals and enterprises.

App distribution: Average

5. Huawei

Even the advertising platforms with the strictest audits may reject you if you upload a gadget on the grounds that your company's business scope does not include this category.

Other types of rejections are:

1. Too many types of ads (only two ads can be added at most)

2.Simple packaged website pages or templates

3. There is a copyright risk, and a disclaimer letter is required

4. Not in line with the developer's business scope, not included for the time being

Soft: Semi-mandatory, requires submission of a waiver letter. You can try uploading screenshots of other markets’ listing backends. Last year, no waiver letter or copyright information was required, but now it is a requirement.

Account identity: Enterprise.

App distribution: Very high

6. OPPO

It will force the download of updated apps from other platforms. Note the ABCD label ratings. B: can only be downloaded through search. C can only be downloaded through precise search. For example, if your application is WTF, you must search for WTF before you can download it. D: Virus

Soft copy: semi-mandatory. You can submit screenshots of the listing in other markets and see the review status there. If you are not satisfied, you will be asked to submit a soft copy. You can change the application category and try again.

Account identity: Enterprise.

App Distribution: High

7.VIVO

I love this platform. The review is fast, there is no forced softness, and the download volume is high! If it is a new application that is not available on other platforms, it will be given directly. If it is available in other markets, screenshots of the background of the listing in other markets will be required.

Last year, not only corporate identity was required, but also the submission of a basic account. This year, only corporate identity is required.

Soft: Not mandatory, you can submit screenshots of other markets' listing background

Account identity: Enterprise.

App Distribution: High

8. Xiaomi

This platform was once the platform with the highest number of app downloads for me, but it removed all my apps because I didn’t update them for a year (I started a business developing independent games), and there are no email reminders!

I have an app that ranked first for a keyword. After it was taken down and put back on the shelves, the search keyword ranked 7-8th, and the number of downloads dropped to 1/8 of the original. It’s so ruthless... Originally, I didn’t update the app for a year and I could still earn more than 10,000 yuan a month. The importance of ASO! ! !

Soft: Not mandatory

Account identity: individual or enterprise.

App Distribution: High

I won’t analyze other platforms one by one. So besides software, what else do we need to prepare?

1. Developer email or account

2. Things to note when setting the password: These two items should not overlap. For example, if your developer ID is aaabbb, your password should not be aaabbb. Then, email addresses and accounts are universal in some places but not in others. For example: Some places use email to register, [email protected], xyz is your corporate email name, but in some places the suffix after @ is a default, such as Meizu@http://flyme.cn and Sogou@http://sogou.com, then just fill in abcde here. When setting a password, just do it in one go and use a combination of uppercase letters + lowercase letters + numbers to avoid some marketing troubles.

3. Developer company name

4. Developer Address

5. Developer's official website (if any)

6. Business license number (sometimes a picture, sometimes just a number)

7. Organization code (sometimes a picture, sometimes just a number)

8. Landline

9. Company zip code 10. Contact name 11. Contact email address 12. Contact mobile phone number 13. Contact ID card 14. Front and back pictures of contact ID card 15. Contact QQ The contact person here should preferably be the legal person or project leader. If not, at least someone trustworthy in the team. His personal materials must appear in the channel information. If this person leaves, consider the consequences...
