If Apple can successfully deploy Touch ID mobile payments in the iTunes backend in developed and developing countries, this service will become the company's most important and profitable service. The mobile payment market is developing rapidly, and the most important device is the mobile phone. As of June this year, there are nearly 250 mobile payment service providers in 89 countries around the world, with more than 60 million active users. Apple CEO Tim Cook publicly stated that the company is very interested in the field of mobile payment, and the goal of developing Touch ID also took mobile payment into consideration. Many industry observers believe that Apple will enter the mobile payment market in a high-profile manner after releasing the next generation iPhone this fall. Rumor has it that the iPhone 6 will be equipped with an NFC chip, support NFC mobile payment, and complete authorization through Touch ID. Apple sells more than 30 million iPhones every quarter, and almost everyone who buys an iPhone has an iTunes account bound to a credit card. The so-called iPay system will become one of the important features that distinguish Android and Windows Phone.
