So compared to emeralds, aquamarines below 30 carats are not very scarce. But think about it from another perspective, you can buy the same gemstone as the royal family at an affordable price, aren’t you a little excited?

However, if you want to buy one, you need to have basic selection skills. Like other gemstones, the quality of an aquamarine is evaluated based on its color, clarity, carat weight, cut, and whether it has been optimized. Therefore, an aquamarine with a deep blue color, pure transparency, large size, intact crystals or perfect cuts, and no optimization treatment is the best choice. If your budget is limited, you would rather choose a fine piece than a bunch of inferior ones.
