iOS/iPadOS 14 beta 2 is released. What are the new improvements and features?

Following the release of the first developer beta versions of several new systems at WWDC20 two weeks ago, Apple pushed the beta 2 version today, including iOS/iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, macOS Big Sur, and tvOS 14.

Generally speaking, Apple will improve system stability and test new features in new beta versions. iOS/iPadOS 14 beta 2 includes many new improvements, including the following changes:

• Calendar icon: iOS/iPadOS 14 beta 2 makes minor changes to the calendar icon. The text showing the day of the week at the top of the icon is now changed to an abbreviation.

• Clock icon: The clock icon has also been slightly adjusted, with the pointer becoming thinner and the text becoming bolder;

• File Widget: A new "File" app has been added to the desktop and negative one screen widgets, which can quickly find or open data in folders;

• Reminders app: The symbol icons in the Reminders app have been redesigned;

• App Library: The new App Library in iOS 14 allows users to directly organize downloaded apps into it. However, in beta 1, if you want to delete an app that only exists in the library, you need to add it to the home screen first. Beta 2 improves this experience. Now, apps that are directly downloaded to the App Library can also be deleted directly.

• Family Sharing: The Family Sharing module in Settings has a new icon;

• Weather widget: Fixed the bug that sometimes the local weather was not displayed;
• Busy roads: Some features of the new map can now be experienced normally, such as early warnings in congested areas in some supported cities, and license plate restriction reminders can also be used normally;
• Music: Settings now allows you to disable the picture-in-picture feature of the Music app, and the Music app no ​​longer has a toggle for "Show Apple Music";
