The elderly have become the biggest victims of the Internet age! Who will deal with the chaos of big data?

Every year, March 15 brings us many unexpected things that make people very angry. Some companies are even exposed by March 15 all year round, but they refuse to change despite repeated warnings. I don’t know how the relevant departments work. Don’t they have any management methods or punishment methods? Are they allowed to continue to endanger society so recklessly?

However, at this year's 315 conference, something that I find extremely unacceptable was exposed: using the Internet to carry out a series of illegal activities specifically targeting the elderly using mobile phones, including reading personal privacy information, pushing various advertisements, and even using this channel to obtain corresponding information to commit fraud. It is heartbreaking and helpless.

Many elderly people are unable to keep up with the pace of the Internet era and have been working hard to learn, hoping not to be left behind by this era. However, these unscrupulous companies take advantage of the elderly's unfamiliarity with the Internet, their unfamiliarity with mobile phone use, and their desire to have close contact with the Internet. Through relevant measures, they obtain all kinds of information from the elderly's mobile phones, causing great harm to many users.

Specifically, these exposed "technology companies" mainly obtain information on the elderly through numerous mobile phone junk cleaning software, because many elderly people are not very familiar with the use of mobile phones. After using the mobile phone for a long time, they may need to clean up junk and disinfect the phone. Unlike us, they can distinguish between regular software and junk software, so many elderly friends have some APPs on their mobile phones that seem normal but are actually "junk rogue software".

The more common ones are software like the Memory Optimizer APP, Mobile Manager Pro, etc. During the installation process, these software will ask for personal information, and some will not even give a prompt. For the elderly, their information may be stolen without knowing it. The companies that develop such software will use this data to push various advertisements to users, or even engage in fraud.

To be honest, I don't think there is much to say about the issue of obtaining information. Many software have this requirement, but they are specifically targeted at the elderly, and even done in a deceptive way. I think this method of obtaining information should not be accepted. In addition, the fact that the limitations of the elderly's knowledge of the Internet are exploited also makes me feel a little sad. After working hard all my life, I still get taken advantage of in the end. Is this the Internet age?
