iOS 14.5 is available first! 217 new emojis added, green screen issue fixed

Apple's iOS system is very comfortable to use. With the iteration of iOS14, iOS14.5 will be coming soon, adding 217 new emojis and fixing the green screen problem. Come and experience it first.

1. 217 new emojis added

This update added 217 new emojis to the emoji library, including three facial expressions: exhaling, dizzy, and foggy.

Two new heart-shaped emojis, “burning” and “injured”, have been added, which are so vivid and lifelike.

In addition to the new emojis, some old emojis have also been revised and upgraded, such as the "syringe" emoji, which replaced the previous blood with medicine.

There is also a "headphones" emoji, using the recently released AirPods Max as the new headphone emoji.

Among the 217 newly added emojis, 200 are couples with different skin colors, genders, and hairstyles. Users are also allowed to freely match couples and heart-shaped emojis with different skin colors.

2. Fix the iPhone 12 green screen problem

I believe everyone is more concerned about the green screen problem, and this time it has finally been fixed! The update log mentioned: Reduce the dim glow effect that may appear at reduced brightness against a black background.

After iPhone12 was upgraded to iOS14.5, the green screen problem was indeed solved, but a small number of users said that the green screen still existed after the upgrade. This system version may have only repaired some devices.

In fact, not long after the iPhone 12 series was released, many users reported that green screen problems would occur under certain circumstances. If your iPhone 12 also encountered the green screen problem, you can try upgrading.

Other fixes and improvements:

  • Shortcuts now support screenshots. Search for "screenshot" in the app to see this feature.
  • When wearing an Apple Watch, you can directly unlock an iPhone with Face ID;
  • Added in the Music APP, you can complete the shortcut function by sliding the song name on the album page;
  • The software update interface will not only show the latest version, but also the time when the software update was last checked;
  • Added vibration feedback when attaching or removing MagSafe accessories;
  • Fixed an issue where locations could not be shared to notes and reminders in the Maps app;
  • Optimize voice memos, turn on the magic wand in the upper left corner, and automatically reduce background noise in recordings.

Voice memos have always been loved by many users and are often used in interviews and meetings.

Then use the recording to text assistant to import the audio, directly convert the recording to text, and generate a document with one click, which is very convenient!

Now everyone knows the content of today’s Apple iOS 14.5 update. If you think it’s good, you can share it so that it can help more people.
