Limited production capacity: Can Samsung not come up with a big move?

Last month, Samsung announced that it would launch the low-priced series of products Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. The special thing about the A series phones is that they all use an all-metal integrated body. According to foreign media reports, Samsung has promised to launch them in the Chinese market this month. However, some recent news seems to prove that Samsung's progress is not smooth.

It is said that the Galaxy A3/A5 series has a very serious production capacity problem due to its all-metal design, and only about 50% of the mobile phones produced can meet the quality standards required by Samsung.

This seemingly easy problem turns out to be very difficult for Samsung, because they had very little experience with all-metal mobile phones. In the past, most of their products with metal structures only had metal on the edges and frames, while other parts, such as the back cover, were still made of plastic.

The Galaxy A3 and A5 have a thickness of 6.9 and 6.7 mm respectively. This ultra-thin body also brings them some manufacturing challenges.

The price of Galaxy A5 has been revealed. The Telecom version is priced at 2,599 yuan. It uses a 5-inch 720p screen, is equipped with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB of memory, has a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera, and runs the Android 4.4 system.

I never expected that the products that Samsung is preparing to seize the Chinese market may be out of supply because they are made of all metal.
