1. Tyrannosaurus Rex

King of Dinosaurs

Tyrannosaurus Rex, also known as Tyrannosaurus Rex, is the largest species in the Tyrannosauridae family. It measures approximately 11.5-14.7 meters in length, with an average hip height of about 4 meters. The highest hip height reached approximately 5.2 meters, and the highest head height approached 6 meters. Its average weight was about 9 tons (ecological average about 7.6 tons), with a maximum weight of 14.85 tons. The longest head was approximately 1.55 meters. Its bite force was typically 90,000-120,000 Newtons, reaching up to 200,000 Newtons at the tip of its jaws. It was also the most robust carnivorous dinosaur.

2. Majunlong

Lizards of Madagascar

Majungasaurus, meaning "Lizard of Madagascar," is a genus of theropod belonging to the family Abelisauridae. It lived in Madagascar during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 65 million years ago. Currently, only one species has been confirmed: *M. crenatissimus*. Recently discovered individuals have reached lengths of 10-11 meters and weighed 4-5 tons. Research data shows that Majungasaurus not only preyed on herbivores but also sometimes cannibalized its own kin.

3. Eocarcharia dinops

The second largest terrestrial carnivore on Earth to date

Eocarcharia dinops' enormous brow ridges almost covered its eyes, giving it a fierce and terrifying appearance. These brow ridges served as powerful battering rams during competition for mates. This dinosaur belonged to the Carcharodontosaurus family and was one of the most powerful carnivores in southern Africa. Eocarcharia dinops is likely an ancestor of Tyrannosaurus rex, which lived during the Late Cretaceous period. Tyrannosaurus rex was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous and is the second largest terrestrial carnivore ever discovered on Earth.

4. The Noeffler Dragon

Similar in size to a German Shepherd

The Norfolkosaurus, roughly the size of a German Shepherd, lived in the southern part of the supercontinent Gondwana during the late Cretaceous period, 65-70 million years ago. Scientists believe they primarily fed on fish, lizards, and other animals. The first part of its scientific name means "evil lizard," while the second part is named after singer Dire Straits and guitarist Mark Knopfler.

5. Rose Mapron

earth lizard

Mapusaurus, meaning "earth lizard," is a giant carnivorous sauropod dinosaur that lived in Argentina during the Late Cretaceous period. Mapusaurus was very similar to its close relative Giganotosaurus, but larger, making it one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs, smaller only than Tyrannosaurus Rex, Tanzanianosaurus, and Spinosaurus. They reached lengths of up to 14.5 meters and weighed up to 13 tons.

6. Forged Scythe Dragon

Omnivorous dinosaurs

Falcarius is a genus of therizinosaurid dinosaur discovered in eastern Utah, USA, in 2005. Its name comes from the Latin word for "sickle," describing its clumsy claws. Together with the Lower Cretaceous Beipiaosaurus discovered in China, it clarifies the relationship of therizinosauridae within the theropod suborder.

7. Hadrosaurus

One of the herbivorous dinosaurs of the order Ornithischiana during the Late Cretaceous period.

Hadrosaurs lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 100 million years ago, which was the peak of dinosaur development. As a result, they were numerous, making up about 75% of all herbivorous dinosaurs. They were a group of relatively large ornithischian dinosaurs. The largest known specimen (in 2008) exceeded 21 meters in length. Hadrosaurs were named for their broad, duck-billed snout, formed by the extension and lateral expansion of the premaxilla and predentary bones.
