I. Foraging
Herbivorous dinosaurs' access to plants was limited by their height, so some small herbivorous dinosaurs would stand on their hind legs to reach the leaves of taller plants. Carnivorous dinosaurs fed on herbivorous dinosaurs and other animals. The different foraging methods of various dinosaurs are also reflected in their teeth.

II. Struggle
Sharp teeth and claws were the weapons used by carnivorous dinosaurs to hunt. Tyrannosaurids would seek out lone herbivores, so they often hunted alone. Some dinosaurs, however, would hunt in packs, swarming their prey and using the claws on their second toes to slash open its abdomen.
Herbivorous dinosaurs typically possessed specialized "equipment" to defend against attacks from carnivorous dinosaurs. This equipment sometimes consisted of tough leather armor, bone clubs or nails, and sometimes a powerful tail. Large herbivorous dinosaurs would act collectively, and when threatened, they would collectively defend their position and fight back.
