Tyrannosaurus Rex is the most important dinosaur in the movie Jurassic Park. In the movie, Tyrannosaurus Rex is portrayed as ferocious and aggressive, and it is the dinosaur that humans fear most in the movie.

If you unfortunately encounter a Tyrannosaurus Rex, it can see you even if you stand still...
However, the Tyrannosaurus Rex in the movie has very poor eyesight, only able to detect its prey when it moves, otherwise completely ignoring it. While this characteristic does exist in nature, such as in some amphibians, Professor Barrett states that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was not actually like this.
"Dinosaurs likely had very sharp eyesight. In fact, a study 15 years ago suggested that Tyrannosaurus Rex probably had the best eyesight of all animals."
"Standing still in front of a Tyrannosaurus Rex is probably one of the most foolish things you can do."
