Paid traffic is a foreign trade promotion model chosen by many businesses. The traffic and keywords that SEO can bring by itself are limited. Using paid advertising to grow your traffic is a great complement to SEO. Advantages: quick results, high target coverage, strong targeting, wide range, comprehensive product promotion, flexible forms, controllable costs, and high return on investment. Disadvantages: The price is not cheap, customers in some areas do not believe in competitive rankings (there is a certain psychological resistance to advertising), and some industry keywords cannot achieve competitive rankings, and the effect is only in the promotion stage. (2) Search Engine Optimization (SEO) SEO traffic is mainly divided into four steps: developing primary and secondary keywords, optimizing corresponding web pages according to keywords, regularly adding web page content, and adding relevant external links. Disadvantages: There are many people doing SEO promotion now. SEO is a mess and not as good as it used to be. Companies cannot see any results in the short term, causing many companies to be afraid to continue. If you have the financial strength, you can combine SEO and PPC at the beginning, which will have considerable benefits after two months. Free manual promotion Register on international B2B, B2C platforms, foreign trade networks, domestic and foreign trade forums, and then publish product information, website information, foreign blogs, or post product information, website information in some free forums, or search for buyer information on the Internet, or promote for free through email. Of course, customer mail is larger. Advantages: Free, no cost, and completely operated by yourself. Disadvantages: The effect is not obvious. If it is SOHO, it is a waste of manpower and material resources. In the beginning, this is more appropriate, and there is really no money to invest in foreign trade retail promotion. If you are engaged in foreign trade retail business, a small enterprise, and have little capital, you should combine competitive ranking and manual promotion from the beginning, which will control costs and achieve good results. Paid promotion on the platform We can pay for promotion on both B2B and B2C platforms. Advantages: Targeted promotion, clear intention, targeted, strong desire of foreign buyers on the platform, provides a fixed platform for traditional industry products. The effect is good and can be gradually reduced. Disadvantages: Not cheap. It will cost at least tens of thousands of yuan to promote this platform within a year. It is best to have a specific person operate it to achieve the maximum effect with the least consumption. Social Media Promotion As social media has grown, most brands consider it an essential component of their overall marketing plan. Advantages: Social media has more options in distribution channels and free channels; the potential customer base is large and can be classified by region and interest, which is more accurate. Disadvantages: It requires a certain market research foundation, accurately grasps the adaptability of the product in the target market, and needs to accumulate a certain number of target customers. Of course, these tasks can also be completed by the same agency, but the company itself needs to have a full understanding of the product. Data analysis Data analysis is a very interesting job, but not everyone likes working with data. The data you need to know is the amount of traffic you want to direct, the cost of directing customers, and the cost of directing each customer. When you know the data clearly, you can know the direction of your marketing.
