iPhone 6S A9 processor details revealed! Apple is going crazy

There are currently two unsolved mysteries about the iPhone 6S: one is the processor, and the other is the memory.

It is basically confirmed that both iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are equipped with 2GB of memory, but the details still need to be further confirmed by final testing and disassembly. However, little is known about the processor.

Apple once said that the performance of A9X is 1.8 times that of A8X, but A9 is not mentioned much. According to the improvement of A9X, A9 should be at least 50% better than A8. So, how many cores does A9 have? If it is still a dual-core design, a 50% improvement would be too crazy.

@Mr Lihai, whose Weibo account is verified as editor-in-chief of Beijing AiFei Technology Co., Ltd., believes that the A9 processor is a quad-core design with two 1.7GHz cores and two 1.2GHz cores. If this is true, then the A9 would be the first quad-core processor in Apple's history, which is crazy.

This news has been recognized by many foreign media, such as WCCFTech and PhoneArena, which both quoted the statement that A9 is a quad-core design, but also expressed uncertainty.
