The Anhui Provincial Department of Education officially released the "2020 Time Schedule for Some Education Examinations in Anhui Province".

Secondary school entrance examination arrangements

1. The junior high school academic level test (grade 9) will be held from July 14 to 16.

2. The written test for the junior high school academic achievement test (grade 8) will be held on July 17, and the computer-based test will be held from July 18 to 24.

3. The time of the junior high school academic level experimental operation test will be determined by each prefecture-level city based on local conditions.

4. There will no longer be compulsory subjects in the junior high school academic level physical education and health subject examination (grade 9). Candidates will independently choose 2 subjects from the original compulsory subjects and the optional subjects determined locally. Each subject is worth 30 points, with a total score of 60 points. The examination time, subjects and methods will be determined by each prefecture-level city based on local conditions.

5. The examination time for cultural subjects for arts and sports recruitment in secondary vocational schools is July 24.
