II. Penalties for ViolationsThe general penalty measures are as follows. Tencent will take one or more measures against the advertiser account and advertiser entity according to the violation circumstances (special industries will also match industry penalty rules): 1. Freeze account: Within the specified time (in natural days), the ads in the frozen account will not be exposed. 2. Account suspension: The advertiser’s Tencent advertising account will be permanently suspended, and the entity (company) will be prohibited from registering as an advertiser again. 3. Confiscation of rebates: Advertisers whose accounts have been blocked will be disqualified from obtaining rebates from the Tencent advertising platform in accordance with policy regulations. The corresponding rebates will no longer be calculated or paid for advertisers, and the rebates obtained in the early stage but not yet paid will be stopped simultaneously. 4. Confiscation of advertising fees: Based on the advertiser’s violation scenario, the advertising fees in the account of the violator will be deducted as liquidated damages. 5. Compensation: If an advertiser causes losses to Tencent, consumers, traffic suppliers or any other entity due to violation of regulations (including but not limited to fees paid for handling consumer complaints, consumer claims, administrative penalties, advertising fees confiscated, etc.), the advertiser shall compensate for the losses.
