On August 1, 2008, as the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity C2275 train slowly drove out of Beijing South Railway Station, my country's Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway was officially opened for operation. In December 2019, two Fuxing trains G8811 and G2505, painted with the auspicious dragon and phoenix, the world's first autonomous driving trains, were ready to go to Taizicheng and Zhangjiakou respectively, marking the opening of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway has achieved intelligent construction, intelligent equipment and intelligent operation, setting a precedent for the world's intelligent railways.

In December 2020, C2702 and C2701 Fuxing trains made their first trips in both directions from the Beijing-Xiong intercity railway. The departure of the two trains marked the full opening of the Beijing-Xiong intercity railway. During the construction of the Beijing-Xiong intercity railway, technologies such as intelligent construction, intelligent equipment and intelligent operation were adopted, which improved the disaster prevention capability of high-speed railways and realized predictive maintenance. The station launched intelligent services, realizing functions such as accurate positioning of passengers, route planning, and location search, improving the travel experience of passengers.

The construction and operation of intelligent railways represented by the Beijing-Zhangjiakou and Beijing-Xiong'an high-speed railways indicate that my country has successfully developed an intelligent Fuxing EMU with self-perception of working status, self-diagnosis of operating faults, and self-decision-making for safety guidance, and has achieved an automatic driving function at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, while other countries are still in the trial stage in terms of intelligent railways. In the future, the comprehensive integration and application of modern technologies such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and 5G and new infrastructure will further enhance the level of key railway technologies in China and further contribute to the "Chinese solution" for the development of world railways.

Fuxing leads the world

In June 2013, under the leadership of China Railway Corporation, China Academy of Railway Sciences took the lead in technology and concentrated the advantages of domestic related enterprises, universities, scientific research institutions, etc., and officially launched the China Standard EMU project. In June 2017, the China Standard EMU with completely independent intellectual property rights and reaching the world's advanced level was officially named "Fuxing".

In September 2017, seven pairs of "Fuxing" Chinese standard EMUs were the first to achieve an operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour on the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed ​​Railway, making my country the country with the fastest commercial high-speed rail operations in the world.

In April 2022, the new Fuxing high-speed comprehensive inspection train went into operation. The relative passing speed in the tunnel reached 806 kilometers per hour, and the relative passing speed on the open line reached 870 kilometers per hour, setting a world record for the passing speed of EMU trains on open lines and tunnels.

my country has developed a series of Fuxing EMUs with speed levels ranging from 160 km/h to 350 km/h, which can adapt to different environments such as high-altitude areas with temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius and plateau areas with an altitude of 5,100 meters. Fuxing has achieved full coverage of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

At present, China's high-speed rail has won many world "bests", not only realizing the role transformation from "follower" to "leader", but also becoming a beautiful "national business card" for Made in China to go global. At the same time, China's high-speed rail has actively gone abroad, strengthened cooperation with countries around the world, and brought benefits to local people.

The entire line adopts Chinese technology and Chinese standards. The China-Laos Railway starts from Kunming, China in the north and connects to Vientiane, Laos in the south. It has aroused strong repercussions internationally.
