From November 28 to 30, 2020, the 2020 Changsha Cybersecurity and Intelligent Manufacturing Conference, co-organized by the Office of the Cybersecurity and Informatization Committee of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Provincial Communications Administration, the Hunan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Changsha Municipal People’s Government, and China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., Ltd., was grandly held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center.

This conference is themed "Innovation Leading the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing" and focuses on "Global Vision, Chinese Solutions, Hunan Practice, Changsha Model". It aims to fully implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Hunan, and to share new technologies, new products and new applications of cybersecurity and intelligent manufacturing, comprehensively display new trends, new achievements and new experiences in cybersecurity and intelligent manufacturing, and strive to implement the development strategy of a cyber power and a manufacturing power. This conference covers five main contents: the opening summit, the summit forum, the theme forum, the exhibition and the special activities.

On the morning of the 28th, at the opening summit, Chen Fei, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, announced the opening of the conference; Zheng Jianxin, Deputy Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, Mayor, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Hunan Xiangjiang New District, and Rui Xiaowu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. delivered speeches respectively.

Zheng Jianxin introduced the latest development status and development plans of Changsha's intelligent manufacturing and cybersecurity industries, and pointed out that Changsha will make every effort to create a new type of government-business relationship and a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment of "full support, immediate action, and careful care", vigorously cultivate new growth poles for national strategic emerging industries such as the digital economy and intelligent manufacturing, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and achieve higher-quality development.

Rui Xiaowu introduced that the wave of digitalization has greatly facilitated people's production and lifestyles, but it has also brought about dangerous network security risks. He proposed to target the "three major pain points" of my country's network security, focus on promoting "closing backdoors", "plugging loopholes", and "preventing supply cuts" to establish a computer ecosystem with independent intellectual property rights.

Li Peigan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and chairman of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers, Zhang Yansheng, chief researcher of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and secretary-general of the Academic Committee of the National Development and Reform Commission, Shi Yaohong, vice president of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and president of Huawei Cloud and Computing China, Song Liding, assistant to the general manager of China Electronics, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of China Great Wall, and Ye Xiaohu, senior vice president of Green Alliance Technology Group Co., Ltd., gave keynote speeches respectively.

Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the China Association for Science and Technology; relevant leaders from the Hunan Provincial Cyberspace Affairs Office, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Communications Administration, and the Hunan Association for Science and Technology; relevant leaders from the Changsha Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government; relevant leaders from the Hunan Xiangjiang New District Management Committee, and heads of the Industry and Information Technology Bureaus of various cities and prefectures in the province; heads of relevant departments of Changsha City, relevant leaders from district and county (city) governments, relevant leaders from various park management committees, and relevant heads from district and county (city) Industry and Information Technology Bureaus; well-known domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and experts in cybersecurity and smart manufacturing, as well as media reporters attended the opening summit.

At the same time, the conference also focused on industrial hotspots such as industrial Internet, intelligent connected vehicles, 5G, robots, artificial intelligence, network security, new infrastructure, and information technology industry. It held four summit forums, ten theme forums and two special events around the strategic layout, industry hotspots, cutting-edge technologies, and future prospects of building network security and intelligent manufacturing.

This year's conference adheres to the combination of scale and quality, and builds a cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing product display platform for enterprises. It has 4 exhibition halls and 8 major themes, namely Hall E1, network security and intelligent networked car theme; Hall E2, 5G+ and industrial Internet theme; Hall E3, intelligent manufacturing solutions and intelligent equipment theme; Hall E4, new infrastructure and information innovation industry theme.
