However, it did not regard AirPods as a replacement for EarPods, but as a wireless option for 1,288 yuan. However, three months have passed, and AirPods has been officially launched from the end of October. During this period, Apple fans have been waiting anxiously. Why did AirPods "postpone"? There are also many different opinions among the parties concerned about it. Apple's own statement is that "we need more time before AirPods are ready for consumers." The Wall Street Journal broke the news a few days ago that Apple needs to solve the problem of audio signal synchronization between the two earbuds of AirPods. Soon, John Gruber, a well-known Apple blogger, refuted this statement, saying that these problems have been solved long ago, and the problems encountered by AirPods are ultimately due to the difficulty of mass production. However, BeatsX, which has been rumored to be launched before Christmas, may not be delivered on time like AirPods. Apple authorized retailer B&H recently revealed in an email to customers that Apple has notified them that delivery will take at least 2 or 3 months. This incident does not have much impact in isolation, after all, the attention of BeatsX is not as high as that of its own AirPods. However, what we need to see is that BeatsX is equipped with the same W1 chip as AirPods-this is one of its biggest selling points. But in this way, the situation of AirPods has become more delicate. Apple needs to be wary of the delay in the release of AirPods. The most direct impact is, of course, missing the shopping season and losing an opportunity to boost sales. Consumers will be excited and looking forward to the release of new products, but their mood will gradually calm down due to the continuous delay in shipments, and they will think about whether they really need such products. More importantly, it is urgent to equip the iPhone 7, which has no headphone jack, with wireless headphones. It is normal for people who can't wait to find other alternatives.
