Qoros Auto seeks to make a comeback, launching 26 new models in 5 years, investing 10 billion yuan a year

Recently, Qoros Auto announced an ambitious five-year plan, which will launch 26 new models between 2018 and 2022, including 18 traditional fuel vehicles and 8 new energy vehicles.

The planned models announced by Qoros Auto this time cover three major areas: sedans, SUVs and MPVs, half of which are SUVs, covering small, compact, medium and large market segments. This year, Qoros will launch four sedans and one SUV.

The Qoros 5 and Qoros 3 models are expected to be launched at the end of August. It is reported that both cars are equipped with the Banma Smart Travel Internet system jointly developed by SAIC and Alibaba.

Qoros 3 EV will be launched at the end of November, with an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 7.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 162km/h. It can complete a 0-80% fast charge in 1 hour and has a maximum range of 450km.

This year, Qoros Auto's sales target is 100,000 units. In the first half of the year, Qoros' cumulative sales were 30,524 units. Although it has improved rapidly compared with last year, it has only achieved 30% of the 2018 target.

Baoneng plans to invest 10 billion yuan in Qoros every year. Qoros is still pursuing to become a high-end brand of Chinese cars.
