Tesla released its 2019 Q3 financial report, with total revenue of US$6.303 billion and net profit of US$143 million

Recently, Tesla, a well-known American electric car manufacturer, released its Q3 2019 financial report. The report showed that Tesla's total revenue was US$6.303 billion and its net profit was US$143 million, both of which decreased year-on-year.

In terms of details, Tesla's total revenue in the third quarter of 2019 reached US$6.303 billion, down 8% from US$6.824 billion in the same period last year and down 1% from US$6.350 billion in the previous quarter. Net profit was US$143 million, down 54% from US$311 million in the same period last year.

Although the financial report did not perform well, Tesla is currently working at full capacity to build a super factory in Shanghai, China. According to a report by Cailianshe, Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory has already started trial operation.

Once the construction of Tesla's super factory is completed, the first product to go into production will be Tesla's popular product - Model 3. The early plan is to have a weekly production capacity of 3,000 vehicles. When the construction of Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory is completed, the annual production capacity will reach 500,000 vehicles, which will surely reverse Tesla's sluggish financial report in one fell swoop.
