Ideal responds to the Ideal ONE fire, which may be caused by iron sheets piercing the high-pressure oil pipe

Although new energy vehicles are the general trend, due to the use of new technologies, many new products will inevitably have some accidents in the early stage. For example, on August 6, 2020, an Ideal ONE caught fire while driving on a highway in Guangdong Province.

Ideal also responded to the incident immediately, saying that the fire was caused by something like a piece of iron being rolled up and piercing the high-pressure oil pipe of the vehicle, and then the fuel that was sprayed out was ignited by the high temperature. In addition, regarding the energy problem that is most prone to problems with electric vehicles, Ideal said that there was no problem with the battery and range extender of the Ideal ONE.

It is worth noting that in May 2020, Ideal ONE also had a fire accident. In response to this incident, Ideal said that it was mainly caused by foreign matter on the surface of the exhaust pipe. This foreign matter was mainly a problem during delivery. Therefore, it will focus on the details in the future.

Considering that Ideal only delivered its first car in 2019 and that the two fire accidents were not caused by batteries, we should still be more tolerant of Ideal ONE.
