Lynk & Co plans to sell 250,000 vehicles this year: new pure electric model is aimed at Model 3, with a range of 700 kilometers

Recently, Lynk & Co's sales target and new car plan for 2021 were exposed. The sales target was set to increase by 30%-40% to 250,000 vehicles. In terms of models, the ZERO Concept mass-produced version will be launched.

Lynk & Co ZERO Concept has started trial production. Built on Lynk & Co's SEA platform, ZERO Concept is a medium-to-large car with a NEDC comprehensive range of more than 700 kilometers.

As Lynk & Co's first pure electric vehicle, ZERO Concept continues the brand's family design language, adopting iconic elements such as aurora split headlights and a through-type front face. Of course, due to its pure electric identity, the through-type front face has eliminated the grille, making the overall style more concise.

With the support of the vast platform, ZERO Concept has a 50:50 body ratio, a length of 4950mm, a wheelbase of 2999mm. The extra-long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs reflect the design beauty in a large space.

In terms of power, ZERO Concept will provide two driving modes: single motor and dual motor. The dual motor version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The battery capacity is 110kWh, and the single motor version is expected to have a range of over 700km.

In addition, the new car will be equipped with a height-adjustable air suspension system, as well as frameless doors and electric doors to enhance the sense of luxury.

From the perspective of market positioning, ZERO Concept will compete with models such as Xiaopeng P7 and BYD Han EV. It is reported that its price will be set at around 230,000 yuan. If the news is true, ZERO Concept will become a direct competitor of Tesla Model 3.
