From the "unavailable" Redmi to the popular Huawei Honor 3C, with the development of smart phones, the cost of various hardware has been continuously reduced, and the thousand-yuan market has once again become a new "battlefield" for domestic mobile phone brands. Redmi has MIUI, Huawei is an international brand, and Coolpad Dashen F1 has a "true eight-core" processor. It seems that thousand-yuan products also need to have their own characteristics to gain a foothold in the market. The protagonist of this evaluation is the Xiaokele mobile phone, which is known as the "photography artifact under a thousand yuan." The appearance design combines the characteristics of various brands . The Xiaokele mobile phone used for evaluation is the standard version of 1G RAM+4G ROM. The positioning of 799 yuan naturally requires people to examine it with "perfection" rather than "perfection." Intuitively, although the body is made of plastic, the design still has certain characteristics and is unconventional. The color of the phone is a panda color with black front and white back. The white back cover extends to the left and right sides of the machine, while the black front and upper and lower ends of the machine are a whole. Although there are many buckles around the inside of the back cover, from the use situation, after the back cover is removed many times, the back cover on the upper left corner of the back is obviously not tight, and the manufacturing accuracy still needs to be improved. I don't know whether the thickness of 7.2mm is too thin or the manufacturer wants to highlight the "photography skills" of Xiao Kele, but the rear camera of the phone is designed to be a round cone and is very prominent. If you look closely, you will find that the lens is actually very deep inside the camera, and the periphery is deliberately raised. The flash is located on the circumference of the lower edge of the round cone. This layout reminds us of some HTC models in the past. In terms of hand feeling, the arc-wrapped back cover makes the phone quite comfortable to hold. From the side, this black and white and layered design also adds a lot of points to the whole machine, and also gives people a smooth and beautiful feeling like the Xperia arc S in the "Sony Ericsson" period. Therefore, from the appearance, the characteristics of Xiaokele are a combination of the characteristics of various products. If "the design without design is the best design", will such a "design integrating various designs" be recognized by consumers as "better design"? The system style is simple and fresh. Xiaokele mobile phone uses Android 4.2 system with the Coke UI interface independently developed by Da Kele. For system operation, with sufficient hardware conditions, the current domestic mobile phones with Android system can achieve satisfactory fluency, and the operation of Xiaokele mobile phone is also very smooth. Coke UI is a major feature of Xiaokele product interface. The overall style is simple and fresh, and it feels a little similar to Meizu's FlymeOS. The system level of the interface is only one level, which is more in line with the usage habits of Chinese people. The application icons have also been optimized, all of which are rounded rectangles and are visually more unified. What is commendable is that although the screen is not huge five inches, due to the wide screen frame, a one-handed mode is also added to the Coke UI, but the machine does not have its own input method, so one-handed operation is only applicable to the dialing interface, which is a little regrettable. The system's drop-down menu is also very user-friendly. Quick switches, brightness adjustment, and clearing notifications are all concentrated in the lower half of the screen, which is very convenient to operate. Although this is something that mobile phone manufacturers can do in minutes, even international models rarely have such designs. Coke UI deserves praise. However, the lock screen interface of Coke UI is a bit of a failure. First of all, it looks too simple. When you first get started, you can only find two operations: pull down to unlock and swipe left or right to open the camera. Second, some quick operations are too complicated. Under the lock screen interface, there will be a black area at the bottom of the screen like an Android virtual button bar. Only when you pull up here will the entrances to basic applications such as phone calls and text messages appear, and it is still below a music playlist. Not to mention the poor transition effect, the thin touch area is quite difficult to press. Instead of this, users might as well unlock the phone first and then operate. How can it be quick?
