Why is Huawei HiSilicon's octa-core processor so awesome?

The day before yesterday, Samsung released the high-end version of Galaxy S5 in South Korea, which is equipped with Snapdragon 805 processor. Since the processor does not integrate baseband, Qualcomm equipped it with Gobi 9x35 baseband. The biggest feature of MDM9x35 baseband is that it supports global carrier aggregation. The bandwidth of TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE Cat.6 can reach up to 40MHz, and the theoretical download rate is up to 300Mbps, which is twice the current LTE-A Cat.4 150Mbps. Previously, Huawei released the octa-core processor Kirin 920, which has very powerful parameters and overall performance comparable to Snapdragon 805, but its real trick is not this, but the baseband developed by Huawei itself (it is said that it has been verified on non-mobile phone products). Kirin 920 also supports LTE Cat 6. From the current situation, its directly integrated baseband is Balong V7R2 (Kirin 910 built-in Balong V7R1 is Cat 4). If nothing unexpected happens (Honor 6 has already started mass production), it will be the world's first single-chip integrated LTE Cat 6, which is also what Huawei is proud of. It is reported that Honor 6 has already been mass-produced, and it is equipped with the Kirin 920 processor, and it will be officially released on the 24th of this month. PS: Qualcomm always gives away processors when you buy a baseband, so its importance is self-evident.
