The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has proposed a new initiative, hoping that all network users will use free router firmware to share their private networks for anyone within the network range. EFF is currently working on developing routers that support public wireless, hoping to make shared wireless a new fashion. "We are working with a group of volunteer engineers to develop this technology, hoping that users can share their private wireless networks without worrying about privacy leaks or slow speeds." However, the development of this technology is indeed a long way to go. How to prevent "freeloading" users from changing network passwords without authorization? How to defend yourself after someone uses your network to conduct cybercrime? If these series of problems are not solved, how can people feel at ease to open their own networks. But on the other hand, if we can enjoy other people's public Wi-Fi wherever we go, wouldn't it be a pleasure?
