Following the 49-inch Xiaomi TV 2, its 40-inch version also came to us with a bit of the flavor of "Xiaomi small TV".

After televisions have become flat-panel televisions, the 40-inch size has become the starting point for people to choose and is also the first choice for bedroom TVs. Coupled with the narrow bezel design of Xiaomi TV 2, the first impression it gives is that it is even somewhat close to a large-screen computer monitor.

Video content: The "Chen Tong effect" gradually emerges

Compared with the resources of iCNTV broadcast control platform previously used by Xiaomi TV and Xiaomi Box, GITV obviously has richer content. Since Chen Tong joined Xiaomi last year, the construction of video content has been gradually strengthened. By comparing with the video resources on the official website of iQiyi, it is found that the shadow of iQiyi can be seen everywhere in the video content on the 40-inch Xiaomi TV 2.

As for the problem that the latest movie content requires payment, the only answer is "if you don't have the hands-on ability to install other software, you still have to buy it." Compared with video content, game content on Xiaomi TV is often overlooked by the outside world. However, judging from the feedback from game developers, Xiaomi TV users are quite active in playing TV games.

Compared with other third-party TV game aggregation platforms, the number of games on the 40-inch Xiaomi TV 2 is not large, but it basically includes the current excellent original TV game content. The attitude of "better to have less than less" makes it difficult for users to find "roughly transplanted" mobile games on the recommendation page.
