SAIC Group: SAIC's vehicle sales will reach 381,000 units in March 2024, with new energy accounting for 22%

SAIC Motor released its production and sales report for March 2024. In March, vehicle sales reached 381,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%; from January to March this year, cumulative sales reached 834,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 6.4%.

Among them, sales of independent brands reached 227,000 units, accounting for 59.5% of the company's sales; sales of new energy vehicles reached 85,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 30%; sales in overseas markets reached 105,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 8.83%.

Among the sales of new energy vehicles, Zhiji sold 3,000 vehicles in March, a year-on-year increase of 49.5%; SAIC Passenger Vehicle's new energy vehicle sales exceeded 26,000 vehicles; SAIC Volkswagen ID. family's monthly sales exceeded 10,000 again, a year-on-year increase of 30%; SAIC-GM's new energy vehicle deliveries approached the 10,000 mark, a year-on-year increase of 49.8%; SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 42,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 42%, of which Wuling Starlight sold 11,000 vehicles and Wuling Bingo sold nearly 13,000 vehicles.
