Apple releases OS X 10.10.5 update, mainly to fix bugs

Apple today released OS X 10.10.5 for all users. This update mainly improves the stability, security and compatibility of the system, and also fixes bugs in Mail, Photos and QuickTime Player apps. Previously, Apple had tested this version with developers and public beta users. This update is available for all users and can be downloaded through the Mac App Store.

According to the release notes, OS X Update 10.10.5 improves compatibility with certain mail servers when using Mail, fixes an issue with the Photos app that prevented videos from being imported from a GoPro camera, and fixes an issue with QuickTime Player that prevented Windows Media files from being played back.
