View-Master 2.0 released: the best performing Google VR Cardboard product

Last year, Mattel completely redesigned the View-Master, making it one of the best Google VR cardboard products at the time. It was cheap, comfortable to wear, and could accommodate almost any smartphone at a price of only $30. Now, Mattel has come up with View-Master 2.0, which fixes almost all of the minor issues of the previous product.

For example, to accommodate smaller phones like the iPhone 5, the View-Master had a built-in plastic adapter, but it was easy for users to misplace it. Now, with the View-Master 2.0, Mattel has redesigned the smartphone holder to accommodate a wider range of device sizes.

Also, the View-Master doesn't support the headphone jack of your smartphone, which means you have to rely on the regular speakers in the room. Now, the View-Master 2.0 has an integrated headphone jack adapter on the top or bottom.

View-Master 2.0 will be available this fall and the final price may be set at $40. View-Master 2.0 now also integrates a focus wheel, allowing users to get a clearer picture effect. In addition, View-Master 2.0 also completely redesigned the cabin lock, eliminating the possibility of smartphones falling.
