Android Q (Android 10) has been released, and some details of the next generation Android R have been revealed.

On December 6, according to media reports, Qualcomm announced data security information related to Android phones at the Snapdragon Technology Summit. It is expected that Android phones will be able to replace ID cards and driver's licenses as early as 2020, which is worth looking forward to.

Jesse Seed, senior director of product security management at Qualcomm, and Sudhi Herie, head of Android platform security at Google, revealed at the Snapdragon 865 processor launch conference that the new processor will support mobile driver's licenses and electronic ID cards. The next generation system Android R will have the Android Identity Credential API, which supports various forms of identity authentication.

According to the first push of Android Q Beta in March this year, Google will launch Android R (Android 11) Beta at the same time in 2020 , and more information will be announced at that time.
