Apple releases iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 official version update

This morning, Apple released the official version of iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3, more than a month after the official version of iOS / iPadOS 13.2 was updated. iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 includes improvements and bug fixes, and adds more parental controls in "Screen Time".

This update also includes bug fixes and other improvements:

  • Create new video clips when trimming videos in Photos
  • New support for NFC, USB, and Lightning FIDO2-compliant security keys in Safari
  • Fixed an issue where Mail might not download new messages
  • Fixed an issue with Gmail accounts not being able to delete messages
  • Addresses an issue that could cause incorrect characters to appear in messages and duplicate messages to be sent in Exchange accounts
  • Fixed an issue where the cursor might not move after long pressing the spacebar
  • Addresses an issue that could cause screenshots sent through Messages to appear blurry
  • Resolves an issue where screenshots that were cropped or marked up might not be saved to Photos
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent Voice Memos recordings from being shared with other audio apps
  • Resolves an issue where the missed call marker in the Phone app might not clear
  • Resolves an issue where the Cellular Data setting could incorrectly appear as off
  • Fixed an issue where Dark Mode could not be turned off when Smart Invert was enabled
  • Resolves an issue where some wireless chargers may charge more slowly than expected
