On October 22, according to PhoneArena, after installing the latest version of the Android 12 operating system, many users reported serious problems with their Google Pixel devices.

These devices include Google Pixel 3, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4, Pixel 5, etc. Taking the Pixel 4 series as an example, after updating to Android 12, the 3D face recognition of this phone stopped working. After the update of Pixel 4a 5G, the battery life was greatly reduced, and some applications would crash.

What's worse is Pixel 5. Users reported that the app crash bug occurred after the phone was updated to Android 12, and even restoring the factory settings did not help.

Google said the problem may be caused by incompatibility between Android 12 and third-party applications.

Developers said that Android 12 has just been adapted. At this time, not only are there few adapted apps, but there are also many bugs. Both Google and app developers still have a lot of work to do. Therefore, ordinary users are not recommended to upgrade to the Android 12 operating system as soon as possible.
