After the disaster occurred, the city mobilized a combined emergency rescue team of 28,000 people and more than 3,400 large-scale rescue equipment to participate in the front-line flood control and rescue work. In response to this flood, Chongqing has arranged to allocate 19.8 million yuan in disaster relief funds in advance, and has urgently dispatched 94,000 pieces of relief supplies and a large amount of drinking water, convenience foods, etc. to support the disaster-stricken areas.
