1. Sports area

[Location]: Equivalent to the projection of the anterior central gyrus of the cerebral cortex on the scalp. The upper point is 0.5 cm behind the midpoint of the anterior-posterior midline; the lower point is at the intersection of the brow-occipital line and the front edge of the hairline. If the sideburns are not obvious, you can draw a vertical line upward from the midpoint of the zygomatic arch. The intersection of this line and the brow-occipital line is moved forward 0.5 cm to obtain the lower point of the motor area. The line between the upper and lower points is the movement area. The motor area is divided into five equal parts, and the upper 1/5 is the lower limb and trunk motor area. The middle 2/5 is the upper limb motor area, and the lower 2/5 is the head and face motor area, also known as the first speech area.

[Main indications]: The upper 1/5 of the motor area is used to treat paralysis of the contralateral lower limbs and trunk; the middle 2/5 of the motor area is used to treat paralysis of the contralateral upper limbs; the lower 2/5 of the motor area is used to treat contralateral central facial nerve paralysis, motor aphasia, drooling, pronunciation disorders, etc.

2. Sensory area

[Location]: It is equivalent to the projection of the posterior central gyrus of the cerebral cortex on the scalp. The parallel line 1.5 cm backward from the motor area is the sensory area. The upper 1/5 is the sensory area for the lower limbs, head, and trunk; 2/5 is the sensory area for the upper limbs; and the lower 2/5 is the sensory area for the face.

[Main indications]: The upper 1/5 of the sensory area is used to treat contralateral low back and leg pain, numbness, paresthesia, pain in the back of the head, neck, and tinnitus; the middle 2/5 of the sensory area is used to treat contralateral upper limb pain, numbness, and paresthesia; the upper 1/5 of the sensory area is used to treat contralateral facial numbness, migraine, temporomandibular arthritis, etc.

3. Dance Tremor Control Area

[Location]: Parallel to the line 1.5 cm forward from the sports area.
