First, I posted a poster of the mini program on WeChat Moments, as shown below: One cent to scan the code for a prize draw, iPad Pro 12.9 inches, last two hours... Because WeChat Moments is open, many people will see it in an instant, and it only costs one cent to participate. Even an experienced person like me wants to try my luck...

Step 2: People are greedy, so I tried it: long press the identification applet, and you will enter the homepage of this e-commerce company. However, after entering, you will see a 4-second red envelope rain game. The purpose of the store is very clear. First, you will receive a coupon. Once you have a coupon, for example, 99 minus 50, 50 minus 5...

This kind of coupon will stimulate your desire to buy, which is their first purpose. After the user passes the first game red envelope rain, there is a purchase page (as shown below). Click Buy Now to jump to the third step.

Step 3: Order page and payment. You will see the product details and payment fees on the order page. Once you click on payment, you will be prompted to fill in the recipient's name, mobile phone number, address and other information. After filling in the form, the user only needs to pay 1 cent and then proceed to the fourth step.

The fourth step is to display a poster prompting successful ordering and lottery participation. The poster can be shared on WeChat Moments and will also include a mini program code. Once users see the poster, interested users will recognize the mini program and enter the process.

However, the order page for this product does not show the number of orders. It may be because the seller wants to be low-key and confidential. Some pages will show that the number of orders has exceeded 100,000+, and this purchase order page detects the uniqueness of the user, which means that the same user can only place an order once with one WeChat account, thus eliminating the water army to a certain extent.

Routine analysis:

Through these four steps, we will find that this store did not spend a penny, and even made 1,000 yuan and attracted 100,000 users. Who are these 100,000 users?

It is the user's mobile phone number, address, and name. This information is very valuable and necessary for e-commerce platforms. Even if you buy it through some shady channels, it will cost at least a few cents each, and you may even buy fakes. But through this activity, not only is it easy to obtain this user information, you can also earn 1,000 yuan, and this information is very real. After all, no one wants to write false information.

Many users will think: What if I win the prize? Writing false information does not mean you will not receive the prize. So it is impossible for someone to write false information. In addition, when the user uses the mini program code to jump, the mini program has already read the user's initial login information. That is, WeChat will pass the nickname, gender, etc. to the mini program. For the mini program, it means adding a user, but this login is invisible and is completed by the program.

Secondly, when users identify the mini program code, they receive coupons, which will stimulate users to place orders. If there are 100,000 users and each of them is given a coupon, and only 10% of them convert, that means 10,000 people place an order, the face value of the coupon is 99 yuan minus 50, which is 49 yuan.

If the comprehensive cost of the product itself including the delivery cost is 10 yuan, then one user can earn 39 yuan, and 10,000 people would earn 390,000 yuan. This means that this activity also promoted users’ transaction volume and brought in revenue for the e-commerce platform.

Secondly, it triggered user fission. This is the last step. After the user completes the order, a poster will be generated. Once a user shares it to their friends, it will bring about secondary fission. Assume that 100,000 users place an order, and 10% (10,000 people) of the users share the poster to their Moments, and each person’s Moments covers 500 people. This 500 people is the average number reported by WeChat user data.

So we also take this average, which is to cover 5 million people at a time. Of course, if we then calculate the number of converted users and the number of purchases among these 5 million people in a circular manner, the value is immeasurable.

Therefore, this activity achieved three goals with one stone. We obtained user data, promoted order purchases, and brought about super fission of user data. Finally, one of the shortcomings of this activity is that the text of the user fission poster after the user places the order is not very beautiful and does not attract users. In fact, it can be written more attractively, such as one cent to buy an Apple computer worth 9999 yuan, etc., to attract users to forward the fission. In order to increase the number of fission, some conditions can be added, such as: forwarding to the circle of friends can get 1 new purchase opportunity, get a greater chance of winning a lottery, and increase the user's fission conversion rate. The effect is estimated to be better.

In addition, this activity requires a higher number of friends circles for users who forward the poster in the initial stage, that is, cold-start users. It is best to have dozens of accounts with 5,000 friends forward it together. Don't let accounts with only a few hundred friends forward it, as the effect will definitely not be good.
