The first type of people don’t know how to do it. They work diligently and conscientiously, but after working for a year, they are just like a novice who has worked for a day. They only gain 1,000 followers in a year, not to mention monetization.

The second type of people do one thing, love one thing, and specialize in one thing. Whatever they are involved in and research, they must study the rules, underlying logic, and detailed algorithms to the extreme. It is common for them to attract traffic and realize it.

The third type of person, although she knows she is not good enough, she becomes a disciple and asks for advice by performing, becoming a dog-skin plaster. She has no confidence at all but has the aura to pull a group of people together, starting from scratch, and transforming from a newbie to a small celebrity.

How to judge whether you have entered Zhihu: 2 indicators: salt value and level

About levels: You can start self-recommendation at level 4, and lv2-lv3 are the entry-level stages.
About salt value: 600 points is considered an entry level

2. Tips for choosing questions when answering on Zhihu

As mentioned before, Zhihu is about verticality. Take my time as a college student as an example, how do I usually choose topics? My topic selection skills are divided into two aspects:

Content of the topic

Try to be focused and deep. You can sort out the major issues in your related field and then look at the details. For example, in the area of ​​college students, I used a nine-square grid to divide the content. This field and topic needs to be directly related to your ultimate traffic diversion purpose.

My goal is to attract people to plan careers, provide advice on career changes, attract people to follow our public accounts, and guide new operators, so the areas I can choose from are learning, making money, professional, employment, and psychological questions that I can answer.

I definitely wouldn’t choose Amway recommendations for students, family, or love. I will search with purpose.

Popularity

I have several channels for choosing topics:

  3. Use the search box flexibly and use it to search for college students to see the words that come out later
  4. See what your competitors are answering
  5. See the potential of the question you are invited to answer, how many people have answered it, the number of recent answers, and the number of views

I have two principles for answering:

  1. The number of answers is less than 100, because there are too many answers, I can't rank higher
  2. I can answer it, but this answer has not yet been revealed

  • Ask questions that are as in-depth and vertical as possible. After the account has been registered for a period of time, the number of answers should grow rapidly, of course, provided the content is of high quality enough.
  • Form alliances in your field, gradually build your own manpower and matrix, and grow together.
  • Hot topics are easily downvoted, so please pay attention to the rankings at all times.
  • Newbies should not answer questions about ranking 1-10 on the hot list, as you won’t be able to get on.
  • It is very easy to be opposed by big Vs when working on Zhihu.
  • Don’t rush to get likes when you are a novice. Rely mainly on the content, otherwise it will be easy to get blocked.
  • Do not switch to different Zhihu IP addresses on the same mobile phone, as it will be detected and will be permanently banned.
