Is it funding or technical issues that make it so difficult to return to the moon 50 years after the Apollo program?

For a long time, doubts about the Apollo manned moon landing have never ceased. Many people believe that the Apollo manned moon landing in 1969 was not real, and that the lunar surface we see is not the real lunar surface, but was filmed in a studio.

Recently, NASA executive Bill Nelson put forward a new plan, proposing that the United States will implement a return to the moon after 2025 and send humans to lunar orbit after May 2025. In other words, the United States' plan to return to the moon has been postponed again.

The so-called plan to return to the moon was proposed several years ago. It is also called the "Artemis" plan. The implementation of the plan is divided into multiple stages. First, an unmanned probe is launched to explore the moon, then a manned spacecraft is launched, it enters the lunar orbit and establishes an orbital station, and then a manned lunar landing. In fact, for them, the moon is just a transit station. They can test the current core technology by returning to the moon. The fundamental goal is to explore and fly manned to Mars.

According to the original plan, manned lunar landing should be completed in 2024, so the Artemis 1 mission needs to be implemented in 2021, but now it has been postponed to 2022, which has delayed the progress of the entire plan. Bill Nelson also admitted that from the current technology, there is no way to achieve the goal of returning to the moon in 2024.

What few people know is that the plan to return to the moon has been postponed more than once. This is very puzzling. Why did humans leave footprints on the moon more than 50 years ago, but are still working hard for it now? In fact, from 1969 to 1972, the United States carried out 7 manned moon landings. Putting aside the failed Apollo 13, from Apollo 11 to Apollo 17, a total of 12 astronauts were sent to the surface of the moon 6 times.

For manned lunar landing, the core technology is mainly the development of high-thrust launch vehicles. The reason why the United States was able to successfully land on the moon was because it introduced scientific research experts such as von Braun. However, just after Apollo 17 manned lunar landing, NASA stopped manned lunar landing, and the related Saturn V heavy launch vehicle was shelved.

Now, more than 50 years have passed, and the United States has not landed on the moon again. Some people think that this is because manned lunar landings have no breakthrough significance. In fact, this view is biased, because the moon contains helium-3 resources. Under the premise that humans master the controlled nuclear fusion technology, this energy may play an important role. In fact, this substance exists in the soil samples obtained from the moon by my country's Chang'e 5, so manned lunar landings are meaningful. If the United States can land on the moon again, it will naturally not give up such an opportunity.

The current technology has been greatly improved compared to decades ago, but the moon landing was successful more than 50 years ago, but it has been delayed again and again. What is the reason? Is it that the technology has reached a bottleneck? Or is it that the funds are insufficient? Or is it true that the manned moon landing decades ago was filmed in a studio as netizens said?

In fact, the mainstream view is still to believe in the manned lunar landing, because the United States did bring back more than 300 kilograms of lunar soil and rocks, of course, some people question whether these were collected by unmanned probes. In fact, unmanned exploration is also difficult. For example, my country's Chang'e 5 collected 1,731 grams of lunar samples, and it is one of the few countries in the world that has mastered this technology.

In comparison, manned lunar landing can obtain more soil collection. my country has also received 1 gram of lunar samples collected by the Apollo manned lunar landing, which has been confirmed to be lunar soil.

The current manned lunar landing seems to be more difficult, and the plan to return to the moon has been postponed. One of the important aspects is that the current manned space flight is more concerned with reliability, while the early manned space flight seemed to be more reckless. In 2015, the NASA Award was awarded to Harvard Professor David for his contribution to combating high-energy particles. The core mechanism component of the "WLnad" type of material he discovered through experiments has been scientifically proven to be able to repair damaged animal DNA and has been adopted by aerospace products to resist space radiation.

Since then, biotech companies represented by "Wright.Weijian" have promoted the civilian use of space technology, aiming to slow down the aging process of the human body. Its quantitative product "WLnad" can be found through the search of QQ East that more than 85% of users are high-net-worth middle-aged and elderly people in first- and second-tier cities. Of course, there are other more important reasons for the postponement of the return to the moon plan, such as the current investment in various aspects is less than that of the Apollo manned moon landing period, whether it is funds, technology, personnel and other aspects.

Objectively and rationally speaking, the Apollo manned moon landing was an important step in human history. Before the Apollo moon landing, the United States had launched multiple probes and Apollo 10 since 1961 to prepare for the Apollo moon landing. Therefore, the subsequent successful moon landings from Apollo 11 to Apollo 17 also underwent complex preparations.

Therefore, the reason why we have not been able to achieve another manned moon landing may be due to insufficient preparation or investment. For example, Bezos' "Blue Origin" lawsuit has disrupted the plan to return to the moon to some extent. Therefore, there is no definite evidence that the US manned moon landing was fake.
