Are you tired and annoyed about cleaning before the New Year? Here are three steps to make it easy!

As the year draws to a close, one thing every household has to do is clean the house!

Before New Year's Eve, we need to clean the house inside and out, and deal with the dead corners that we didn't want to clean and tried to ignore before.

Spring cleaning is a ritual for everyone. Cleaning the room means sweeping away bad luck and bringing good luck to the new year.

Everyone can tidy up the room and clean up the dust, but how to do it in the most time-saving and labor-saving way is a science. You need Dad's New Year Cleaning Guide——

Many friends may be confused when they hear that the first step is preparation.

Is spring cleaning still necessary? Isn't it just about rolling up your sleeves and getting to work?

In fact, cleaning requires some handy tools and step-by-step planning.

A few days before cleaning, we can take inventory to see if the tools at home are complete and purchase any missing ones in time.

General cleaning needs:

Prepare the tools, but don't rush to start. A lot of cleaning work always needs to be classified and sorted.

According to the type of work, New Year cleaning basically involves storage and cleaning.

It is recommended that you put away things first and then clean them, so that the workload of cleaning can be reduced a lot.

On the one hand, there is no need to wipe the things you want to discard before throwing them away; on the other hand, if you put them away later, you may find new dust anytime and anywhere.

When cleaning, we'd better follow the order of top to bottom, from the ceiling to the windows, then to the electrical appliances and furniture, and finally to the floor. This will be more efficient. If you mop the floor first, it is likely that the dust on the ceiling will fall to the floor again, and the floor will be mopped in vain.

According to the work area, it can be divided into kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom, etc.

The whole family can join in the cleaning. The children can clean the living room, the dad can be responsible for the kitchen and bathroom, and the mom can tidy up the bedroom.

Listen to music while cleaning so that you won’t have those brainwashing New Year songs played in supermarkets repeating in your mind over and over again.

After some preparation, we can finally start the real cleaning.

As your home accumulates more and more things, you can use the standard of whether you have used them within three months (or within one year for clothes) to determine whether you need to get rid of them.

Practical items can be resold on second-hand trading software.

You can use the old clothes recycling app to process your unused clothes. If you really have no use for them, just throw them away. Remember to sort them properly!

After saying goodbye to the old stuff, you can start organizing it carefully.

Clothes can be folded and sorted according to season and style.

If your closet is deep and has no compartments, you can buy some closet dividers to make use of the wasted space in the closet, and you don’t have to go through the pain of rebuilding a “mountain of clothes” every week.

Before purchasing partitions, you need to confirm the size of the wardrobe and try to choose ones with stronger load-bearing capacity.

I believe that when you are letting go of things, you will find many "good friends" that you have lost for a long time - nail clippers, hair bands, signature pens, food sealing clips...

If you want to better store small items at home, you can try kraft paper storage bags. They only cost a few cents each, which is cheap and convenient.

We won't nag about dusting, vacuuming and mopping.

Here I would like to share some cleaning tips with you.

There is always some glue left after tearing off last year's couplets and Christmas decorations.

At this point, all you need is a hair dryer and a wet rag to remove the glue cleanly.

Blow hot air first, then wipe it, perfect!

The range hood at home has been working hard for a year, and there is a lot of oil stains on it.

Soak in hot water for 3 minutes, then add baking soda to clean and you can easily remove the grease.

To be honest, watching the baking soda bubble up is a bit of a stress reliever.

Slice the lemon, place it in a microwave-safe container, add some water, and microwave on medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes. After taking it out, wipe the dirt inside the microwave with a damp cloth.

This method successfully saved the microwave oven that was "fried" by the electrical researcher.

We also interviewed many parents, grandparents and those who have rich experience in spring cleaning. They also provided many tips, such as:

Wipe the faucet with a stocking;

Clean the glass with newspaper;

Use a paper towel dipped in 84 disinfectant to remove the mold around the sink (Mom, mold removal gel is more convenient!);

Finally, I would like to emphasize safety. Be careful not to fall when climbing up to clean the dust. Do not mix 84 disinfectant and toilet cleaner. Be careful of the opening of the steel ring when using a sponge mop.

I hope that this year we can go home to reunite with our families and complete the spring cleaning together.

Make cleaning easier and more enjoyable!

If you have any other cleaning tips, please feel free to share them in the comments section!
