Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid: The most fuel-efficient SUV ever

Recently, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave a high score of 84 points in its fuel consumption test of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. As a result, FCA called its 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid the "most fuel-efficient SUV" in history. It is reported that FCA released this news after the US Environmental Protection Agency adjusted the rating standards for SUVs. FCA officials said: "The MPGe reached 84 points, which is far beyond the rating we initially released. The test results provided by the EPA fully meet consumers' requirements for the energy efficiency of our cars." In fact, this standard was issued under strong pressure from the Obama administration, so major automakers in the United States have to respond. It is reported that the Obama administration had required that the fuel efficiency of cars reach 54.5mpg (miles per gallon) by 2025. FCA on Wednesday estimated that the Pacifica Hybrid will only achieve 80 MPGe. In addition, the EPA has tested the Pacifica Hybrid to have a total range rating of 566 miles, with a range of 33 miles on electric power alone. FCA revealed that according to EPA estimates, the annual fuel consumption of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, gasoline and electricity combined, is $900. FCA said the price after the U.S. federal tax credit is about $34,495, which does not include national or state government incentives.
