Recently, BYD's new energy model Song EV was unveiled again at the Shanghai Auto Show and officially launched. It seems that regular car manufacturers are still reliable.

In terms of appearance design, the new energy version still retains the design style of the ordinary version of BYD Song, and adds new energy logo, that is, the luminous blue logo and blue wheels.

The appearance of Song is highly original, and the overall style is relatively coordinated, which conforms to the aesthetic taste of Chinese people. In addition, the two-color design creates the feeling of a floating roof. In addition, the EV logo representing pure electric is designed in the C-pillar area, becoming the most eye-catching logo on the side, exuding a fashionable and youthful atmosphere.

Overall, the interior design continues the Song's design style, and the sense of hierarchy is still clear. The typical BYD-style steering wheel integrates a lot of buttons, and the carbon fiber and chrome decoration below add a sense of class. The car logo in the middle is also the new energy blue.

In terms of materials, a large area of ​​​​slush materials and soft and leather materials are used, and the workmanship and feel are very good. The chrome trim gives people a luxurious and fashionable feeling. However, in the current era of self-owned interior workmanship, there is nothing to praise. However, one thing worth praising is that the buttons in the car are all marked in Chinese, which is very convenient for daily use.

There is nothing much to say about the seats and space. The performance is at the mainstream level of the same level. In terms of power, Song EV300, as BYD's first pure electric SUV, is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous high-efficiency high-speed motor, a combination of front and rear axle motors + battery packs, with a front motor output power of 160kW and a rear motor output power of 110kW. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. Due to different battery packs, the new car will provide two models with a maximum range of 270km and 300km for consumers to choose from.

As for charging, Song EV300 can be fully charged in 1.2 hours using fast charging technology, and can be charged to more than 70% in 45 minutes. However, the details still need user feedback.

In general, Song EV is BYD's first pure electric SUV and one of the earliest new energy vehicles in the domestic market. It is an important step for BYD to enter the electric SUV market. With the reputation of BYD Song, Song EV should have attracted the attention of many consumers, but with a starting price of 200,000 yuan, I wonder if consumers will buy it?
