The latest distribution of Android versions: Android Oreo has reached 4.6%

Google has released data on the distribution of the latest versions of its Android operating system, and the data shows that Android Oreo and Nougat have become the winners in the past few weeks.

Compared with the previous statistics, Android Oreo's market share has increased by 3.5%. Most of the market share comes from Android 8.0 rather than 8.1. Currently, the market share of Android 8.0 system has reached 4.1%.

Android 7.0 and 7.1 (Nougat) increased their system shares by 0.3% and 1.6% respectively, which means that Nougat is still the world's most popular operating system, with a current share of 30.8%.

Overall, the share of other mainstream Android versions is on a downward trend, with Jellybean's overall usage falling by 0.5%, KitKat's falling by 1.5%, and Android 5.0 and 5.1 Lollipop's overall figures falling by 1.7%. Finally, Android Marshmallow fell by 2.1% to 26%.
