FAW-Volkswagen Audi adds another strong player, Hu Shaohang is responsible for marketing and Yu Qiutao is in charge of user services

Auto Industry News learned from insiders that Hu Shaohang, general manager of FAW-Volkswagen's Northern Division, will replace Yu Qiutao as deputy general manager of FAW-Volkswagen's Audi Sales Division, and Yu Qiutao will be transferred to FAW-Volkswagen's Audi deputy general manager of user services.

This year is the last year of Yu Qiutao's four-year term. At an event in June, Yu Qiutao publicly stated that according to the job regulations of FAW Group and FAW-Volkswagen, the four-year rotation system does exist, so if there is a job transfer, it is a normal personnel change.

At the beginning of July, FAW-Volkswagen Audi just concluded its employee meeting and dealer meeting. With the official start of personnel adjustments, for FAW-Volkswagen Audi, after boosting morale, it is time to go to the battlefield, regain the market share lost in the first half of the year, repair the Audi brand, and welcome the 30th anniversary of Audi China next year. Audi's brand recovery plan will be officially launched in the second half of the year.

In the first half of this year, FAW-Volkswagen Audi has been at the bottom of the BBA market. The Audi joint venture incident was settled in May. On the last day of June, the new generation of Audi A5 was officially launched. The launch event on this day seems to indicate that after the twists and turns in the first half of the year, FAW-Volkswagen Audi will focus on products and marketing, and it is crucial to achieve market recovery in the second half of the year.

In 2013, Yu Qiutao served as the deputy general manager of the sales division of FAW-Volkswagen Audi, in charge of the four departments of FAW-Volkswagen Audi's marketing, interactive marketing, product marketing and public relations. During his tenure as the head of marketing, Yu Qiutao led the FAW-Volkswagen Audi marketing team to continue to make efforts in brand building and marketing innovation. Based on the younger, more personalized and diversified product layout of FAW-Volkswagen Audi, he fought a good battle at the critical moment of the transformation of de-official cars. Faced with the ever-changing market situation and industry development trends, the FAW-Volkswagen Audi marketing team actively explored marketing innovation, guided by the original "1+1+1" three-dimensional integrated and efficient marketing model, realized the integration of internal and external resources, and carried out cross-border marketing practices such as sports, film and television, and music, as well as fan marketing, which created a new situation for FAW-Volkswagen Audi's marketing and enhanced the Audi brand image.

Hu Shaohang, who succeeded Yu Qiutao, was one of the main leaders of Audi's public relations team before the sales division was established. He later served as public relations manager, marketing director, and director of Audi's Northern Division.
