Entering the field of autonomous driving ProAI system, mass production will follow soon after its debut at CES

At the 2018 International Consumer Electronics Show, ZF announced a new artificial intelligence system, ProAI, which was launched in cooperation with Baidu and NVIDIA and is about to enter mass production. It is reported that the ProAI system can process data from automotive sensors and cameras through deep learning, clearly identify the surrounding environment, accurately locate on high-definition maps, and plan a safe path for the vehicle to move forward, which is further suitable for automated driving on highways.

In addition, ZF also released an innovative travel solution based on the cloud platform, which is an IoT cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure. ZF connected its own telematics platform Openmatics to the cloud. After the connection, it can not only be used to manage traditional fleets and wind farms, but also to manage electric bicycle fleets and charging stations for fleets, providing solutions for micro-travel. In addition, the cloud solution also provides intelligent analysis tools, such as predictive maintenance-using data to monitor the wear of individual automotive parts.
