Geely Borui GE New Energy officially launched, starting at 136,800 yuan

Previously, Geely was reported to be about to launch a new energy vehicle model this year, which was quite anticipated by the public. After such a long wait, the highly anticipated Geely Borui GE was officially launched on May 28. The new car has launched 8 models with two power types, MHEV mild hybrid and PHEV plug-in hybrid, and is positioned as a B-class luxury car. Among them, the market guidance price of the Borui GE MHEV model is 136,800 yuan to 179,800 yuan; the national unified market guidance price of the Borui GE PHEV model after comprehensive subsidies is 166,800 yuan to 199,800 yuan, which is really tempting. As the first B-class car in the market equipped with a hybrid system, the Borui GE has also opened the pace of Geely's full entry into the era of new energy vehicles.

At the same time, Geely Auto also announced three preferential policies: 8 years or 150,000 kilometers of extended warranty for the motor and electronic control of the Borui GE PHEV model, and lifetime warranty for the power battery cells for the first car owner; in addition, customers who successfully ordered the Borui GE before July 28 this year can enjoy a financial interest subsidy policy of up to 5,000 yuan; customers who successfully ordered the Borui GE PHEV model will receive a charging pile for free. It seems that not only the price of the Borui GE is attractive, but also the preferential policies are commendable.

Borui GE MHEV is the first mass-produced B-class car equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system in China. It adopts a 1.5TD+7DCT powertrain, of which the 1.5TD engine has a maximum power of 132 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 265 torque. With Geely's self-developed 48V MHEV mild hybrid system, the system's comprehensive torque is up to 300 torques and the maximum power is 142 kilowatts. The power and economy exceed the mainstream 2.0T engine in the market. At the same time, the power response is faster and stronger. The engine can burst out a maximum torque of 226 at 1000 rpm. The low-speed and high-torque are more suitable for urban road conditions. At the same time, the MHEV system has functions such as engine start-stop, intelligent start-stop, intelligent navigation, intelligent charging, and intelligent brake energy recovery, covering the entire driving process. It must be said that the 48V BSG mild hybrid system not only brings stronger power and smoother driving quality, but also comprehensively improves energy saving, with a fuel saving rate of up to 15%, which fully exceeds the joint venture level and is in a global leading position.

The Borui GE PHEV is equipped with an ultra-high-capacity ternary lithium battery of 11.3kwh, which enables the vehicle to achieve a maximum power of 192Kw and a maximum torque of 425Nm; the pure electric range is up to 60km, and the weighted fuel consumption per 100km is only 1.6L. In addition, the Borui GE PHEV accelerates from 0 to 100km in just 7.4S.

At the same time, the Borui GE PHEV model has the function of automatically switching driving energy modes. When it recognizes that it is about to pass through congested road conditions, it automatically switches to EV pure electric driving mode, achieving pure electric zero-emission driving, and idling noise as low as 31 decibels, refreshing the NVH standard of the same level.

In terms of charging and safety, which are crucial for PHEVs, Borui GE PHEV supports three charging modes: 6.6KW, 3.3KW charging piles, and ordinary 220V charging packs. The 6.6KW charging pile can complete charging in just 1.5 hours, leading the PHEV charging time from 4 hours to 1.5 hours. In addition, Borui GE PHEV also has intelligent scheduled charging, intelligent energy recovery, intelligent battery constant temperature management, intelligent collision power-off protection, etc., to ensure battery safety.
