1. New car transaction situation - In June, Beijing's new car transactions totaled 53,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 106.89%, 72.5 percentage points higher than the national average; a year-on-year decrease of 16.49%, 40.29 percentage points higher than the national average.
- From January to June, Beijing sold a total of 253,200 new cars, a cumulative decrease of 21% compared with 320,400 last year, and the rate of decline was 27.6 percentage points higher than the national average.
II. Sales of imported vehicles- In June, Beijing traded 3,350 imported vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 102.78% and a year-on-year decrease of 42.76%.
- From January to June, the cumulative transaction volume of imported vehicles in Beijing was 19,700 units, a year-on-year decrease of 33.7%.
- In June 2022, the sales of imported cars in Beijing accounted for 6.32% of the total new car transactions in Beijing, a decrease of 0.13 percentage points month-on-month and 2.91 percentage points year-on-year.
- From January to June, the cumulative sales volume of imported cars in Beijing accounted for 7.8% of the total new car transactions in Beijing.
3. Sales of New Energy Vehicles- In June, Beijing's new energy vehicle transactions totaled 22,500 units, up 108.5% month-on-month and 23.5% year-on-year, accounting for 42.41% of the total new vehicle transactions. Sales of pure electric vehicles totaled 17,300 units, accounting for 77% of new energy vehicle sales. Sales of domestically produced new energy vehicles totaled 22,000 units, accounting for 97.9% of new energy vehicle sales.
- From January to June, a total of 82,300 new energy vehicles were traded in Beijing, a year-on-year increase of 25%, accounting for 32.52% of the total new car transactions.
4. Second-hand car transactions- In June, 52,200 second-hand car transactions were completed in Beijing, up 200% from the previous month and down 21.1% from the previous year. The ratio of new to old cars was 1:0.985.
- From January to June, the total number of second-hand car transactions in Beijing was 264,400, a year-on-year decrease of 20.8%. The ratio of new to old cars was 1:1.04.
