New energy vehicle weekly sales ranking: BYD, Tesla and Wuling ranked the top three

The latest weekly sales of new energy vehicle brands from November 27 to December 3 are released. According to the ranking list, the top three car companies in weekly sales are BYD, Tesla and Wuling.

Among them, BYD continued to top the list with a weekly sales volume of 56,200 vehicles, while Tesla and Wuling had weekly sales volumes of 17,600 and 12,300 vehicles respectively.

Compared with the previous week (November 20 to November 26), Tesla's sales increased from 16,700 to 17,600, while Wuling's sales also increased from 11,400 to 12,300. Both of them surpassed Ideal Auto in the new week, and the reason why Wuling's sales increased so fast was related to the hot sales of Wuling Bingo.

Data shows that SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile announced that its new energy vehicle sales in November were 59,400 units, a month-on-month increase of 66%. Among them, Wuling Bingo sales were 34,600 units, a month-on-month increase of 19%, accounting for 58.2% of total sales, exceeding the sales of Wuling Hongguang MINEV series (23,500 units).

As for other brands, Ideal Auto and Aion entered the top five, among which Aion ranked fifth with 8,100 vehicles. Volkswagen, Changan Automobile, Wenjie, Xiaopeng Motors and Leapmotor also entered the top ten, while NIO was the only car company in the "NIO, Xiaopeng and Li Auto" camp that did not make the top ten.

In terms of the sales ranking of new power brands, Ideal Auto, Wenjie and Xiaopeng Motors ranked the top three. Among them, Ideal Auto led the new power with a weekly sales of 9,600 units. Among them, the best-selling model was Ideal L7, which was 4,000 units, while Ideal L9 and Ideal L8 were both 2,800 units. Wenjie and Xiaopeng Motors had weekly sales of 5,600 and 4,800 units respectively.

In terms of the luxury brand sales list, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Tesla all sold more than 10,000 vehicles, 22,200, 18,200, 18,100 and 17,600 respectively, while Ideal Auto ranked fifth on the list, the highest-ranked Chinese brand on the list. In general, in the luxury car market above 300,000 yuan, including traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles, Ideal Auto has been firmly in the top five and is getting closer and closer to BBA. Unlike NIO in the same camp, although the products sold by NIO are also priced at more than 300,000 yuan, the three models currently on sale by Ideal Auto are all hot-selling models.

The latest data shows that as of the end of November, Ideal Auto delivered a total of 325,677 vehicles in the first 11 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 190.75%, which also means that Ideal Auto has taken the lead in achieving the annual sales target of 300,000 vehicles. In this regard, Ideal Auto said: It will continue to challenge the goal of delivering 50,000 vehicles in December, and has made sufficient preparations for capacity building in sales, supply, manufacturing, and delivery.

Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Auto, also said: We will challenge 50,000 deliveries in December! Ideal L7 will challenge 20,000 deliveries. According to the plan, Ideal Auto's fourth model, Ideal MEGA, will start mass production and delivery in February next year. The new car has been unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show and is available for pre-order at the same time. The price will be less than 600,000 yuan. In other words, the MEGA model will impact the market above 500,000 yuan.

As the last month of 2023, after entering December, automakers including BYD, Leapmotor and Zeekr Auto have launched limited-time discounts of varying degrees. As for the reason for launching discounts, it is undoubtedly to achieve the annual sales target by the end of the year. Under the impact of prices, whether automakers can achieve their annual sales targets by then remains to be seen.
