Hongqi Automobile's latest model is equipped with DJI's flagship vehicle-mounted driving platform solution, achieving high-end intelligent driving without map in the city

On the eve of the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, China FAW and DJI officially announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement on intelligent driving. One of the important highlights is that DJI will be deeply involved in the intelligent driving research and development of Hongqi's new models. The cooperation agreement stated that the two parties will strengthen collaborative innovation in high-level autonomous driving platforms, end-to-end smart travel, and advanced high-performance sensors. At the Beijing Auto Show, Hongqi exhibited its latest concept cars such as E007 and E009. It is reported that these models will be equipped with the high-end version of the Chengxing platform announced by DJI, realizing the NOA pilot of the mapless city that can be driven across the country, and creating a high-end intelligent driving flagship demonstration in key models.

The high-end version of the Chengxing platform is equipped with a front-view three-eye camera, four high-resolution surround-view fisheye cameras, left and right side-view and rear-view cameras. Such sensor configuration helps to better identify traffic lights, crossing vehicles, pedestrians and other traffic participants in scenes such as ultra-wide intersections, further improving the smooth and comfortable experience of intelligent driving.

In addition, according to the information previously released by DJI In-vehicle, the high-end version of the forming platform uses the Qualcomm 8650P computing platform. Although this chip is already well-known in the industry, it was officially released at the DJI In-vehicle booth on the first day of the auto show on April 25.

It can be seen that the powerful combination of Hongqi and DJI has already started, and it is expected that the real mass-produced models will be launched soon. The concept car exhibited by Hongqi also presents a new design style of the Hongqi brand, adding a lot of sporty atmosphere on the basis of comfort and luxury.
