Although Cruz and Serbauer are also iPhone users and this year is their fifth year queuing up to buy a new iPhone, in fact, the main reason why they queue up so long in advance is not how much they love the iPhone, but due to competitive factors. "We want to break the record set by our friends last year," Cruz and Serbauer told Newsweek. "Last year, Cruz and Serbauer lined up 15 days in advance, while their friends lined up 17 days in advance." This year, Cruz and Serbauer hope to break their friends' record by lining up 20 days in advance. Cruz and the Sebauer brothers are not the only ones who have received sponsorship from manufacturers.
