Gender barriers have always existed in the tech industry, and nothing can better illustrate this than attending a tech conference, such as Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, which just concluded this week. Google recently released data on the gender gap within the company, which showed that only 30% of the search giant's employees are women. This ratio is not surprising.
