In January, the shipment volume of SSD master control chips increased by 37%, which was also the second highest in the same period in history. Among them, the shipment volume of PCIe SSD master control chips increased by 75%, setting a new record for the same period in history.

In January, NAND flash memory shipments increased by 110%, also setting a record high for the same period in history.

Pan Jiancheng, CEO of Phison Electronics, said that in the enterprise-level SSD market, since NAND original manufacturers can't bear the long-term losses, they are trying their best to push up prices in an effort to turn losses into profits, so the prices of enterprise-level SSDs in the market have risen sharply.

As Phison has a relatively competitive enterprise-level SSD product portfolio, customers' inquiries on enterprise-level SSD solutions have increased significantly, which will have a positive impact on Phison's expected future quarterly revenue contribution.

However, due to the decline in the total global supply of NAND, some NAND flash memory specifications are in short supply, so the delivery cycle also tends to lengthen.
