Apple closes iOS 8.1.2 verification to block jailbreakers

Apple officially closed the iOS 8.1.2 verification early this morning, blocking the last jailbreak. Closing the iOS 8.1.2 verification means that if you upgrade the firmware of your iOS device through iTunes now, you can only upgrade to the latest version iOS 8.1.3, which is currently not supported by jailbreak tools. When Apple released iOS 8.1.3 at the end of last month, the Tai Chi team confirmed that their jailbreak vulnerability had been fixed by Apple. As of today, no jailbreak team has said that they will release tools for iOS 8.1.3.

Compared with the previous quick, accurate and ruthless releases, Apple has "left" jailbreak users a lot of time this time, because Apple closed the verification of iOS 8.1.2 two weeks after the release of iOS 8.1.3. After the release of iOS 8.1.3, Apple is still testing iOS 8.2, and the release time of this version is expected to be close to the launch of Apple Watch, because iOS 8.2 is the first version update to add support for Apple Watch.

At the same time, Apple also released the first beta version of iOS 8.3, which mainly added features such as wireless CarPlay and 2G/3G/4G network switching.
